The Whitetail Bowmen own an indoor range and an outdoor range, which are operated solely through volunteer efforts of its members and paid for by annual dues, tournament proceeds, and donations. Safety on the range is of utmost importance. If you witness any unsafe or inappropriate behavior, please contact a board member immediately. We will not tolerate horseplay, misconduct, or vandalism of any kind. Everyone is out to have fun, so we ask that all users of these facilities treat other shooters with respect and help to keep our ranges clean.
Outdoor Range
The Whitetail Bowmen Outdoor Range is located northwest of Aberdeen. It is spread over 40 acres of wooded land along the Foote Creek and provides the ideal setting for our outdoor practice range and 28-lane archery course. The outdoor range is open year-round and available to all club members. The gate code is issued with your membership card each year.
Indoor Range
The Whitetail Bowmen Indoor Range is located on North Main Street in Aberdeen and 24-hour access can be gained by members for a monthly fee of $15. It has a number of 20-yard targets and offers the perfect setting for fine-tuning your shooting during the off-season. It is also used to host the annual landowner appreciation banquet, indoor 3D tournament, winter leagues, youth leagues, and 4H archery practice. For access to the indoor range, contact a board member for the door code.
